Once again the Van Vleck House & Gardens'
Plant Sale kicks off the season with a not-to-be-missed
selection of unusual plants and garden accessories on Saturday,
May 1 from 9am
to 4pm.
Continuing it’s tradition of seeking out unique and distinctive
offerings in the gardening world, the Van Vleck House & Gardens
is pleased to feature homegrown heirloom tomatoes this season.
Choose from over twelve varieties and hundreds of plants,
started from seed and nurtured in our own greenhouses.
The sale is held rain or shine and admission is free.
On the day of the sale
join special guest Wanda Knapik, horticultural expert, owner and
founder of My Local Garden, at 11:00am
for a free lecture and
discussion about the how and why of growing heirlooms in your
backyard.
Other sale highlights include mosaic
garden sculptures by
Montclair
artist Anne Oshman, and an indoor Garden Boutique courtesy of
Garden Cottage.
